I'm Ying-Qiu (Akina) Zheng. Welcome to my homepage!
I am reading for a D.Phil in Neurosciences at Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging, FMRIB, University of Oxford under the supervision of Stephen Smith and Saad Jbabdi. Before coming to Oxford, I worked with Alain Dagher and Bratislav Misic on modelling neurodegenerative diseases at Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University.
My current research sits at the interface between analysis methods and individual variability in brain activity. In particular, I am interested in transfer learning of brain imaging data, e.g., how to exploit high-quality datasets to facilitate inference on routine-quality clinical data.
In my spare time, I'm a pianist (with 18 years of training) and a photographer with a particular interest in trees. Click here for my works.
